Biographical Summary
Ana Conde

Ana Conde is Associate Professor at UPT (Department of Psychology and Education) and researcher at INPP ¿ Portucalense Institute for Human Development. Over the years she has focused her attention in the study and promotion of life-span development, exploring psychophysiological and contextual determinant factors of psychological adjustment to normative and non-normative stressful life events. All her professional ativity (namely scientific and pedagogic) was organized in order to reach this intent, with the design and participation in research projects in the area, with internal or external funding resulting in several outputs, such us scientific papers, presentations in scientific meetings and master dissertations and proposal of curricular units and cycle of studies. Ana Conde is recognized in the community in the area of developmental psychology being invited to take part of scientific committees, scientific organizations (International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health – Portuguese Language Group and WASP Section on community mental health of the World Association of Social Psychiatry) and as Ad-hoc reviewer. Additionally, over the years she also performed university management activities, being Director of the Department of Psychology and Education (2014-2015), coordinator of the Master in Clinical and Health Psychology (2009-2011 / 2012-2014), Departmental Erasmus coordinator (2016-2018), member of the scientific council of the University (2013-until now) and participation in pedagogic committees of the department.
